Ages 3–4

Preschool & Nursery worksheets

At three and four, worksheets should be mostly pictures and pencil control. Text is set large by default at this level, and the picture and tracing types are the ones worth reaching for.

Build one sheet that covers several skills

Rather than printing a separate worksheet for each activity, add several sections to a single sheet. A typical preschool & nursery page might combine a short arithmetic section, a few missing numbers, and a matching exercise — all sized for the age group automatically when you set the grade.

Frequently asked questions

What worksheets suit a three-year-old?

Tracing and picture counting. Avoid written arithmetic entirely — pencil control and one-to-one counting are the skills at this age.

Can I make the text bigger?

Selecting Preschool already sets a large size, and the text size slider goes to 180% on top of that.
